Gold Position Size Calculator
One question: with this much capital, how many lots should you open? And the more important one: if you lose several in a row, what is left? Everything is calculated in your own browser. Nothing is sent anywhere, no sign-up needed.

What is left after a losing streak
This is the part most people skip. In our 10-year test MindCore once lost 52 trades in a row and still recovered. The table below shows the first eight so you can see the mechanism.
What each number actually means
This tool does not tell you whether to take a trade. It only tells you how large that trade can be and still leave you standing when you are wrong.
The lot size
Balance multiplied by risk percent, divided by stop distance multiplied by contract size. It is not calculated from free margin. This is the same formula MindCore applies to every trade.
If the result is below 0.01
Your capital is not enough for a stop this wide. The options are to wait for a setup with a tighter stop, or to accept that this trade risks more than your chosen percentage. What you should not do is open it without knowing.
Why we keep talking about losing streaks
We tested on real gold prices. Even a good system can lose a great many trades in a row — ours measured 52. A lot size that looks fine while winning but wipes you out during a streak is not a usable lot size.
You do not need to run this calculation each time. The system sizes from your current balance and that trade's stop distance, with a hard lot ceiling so it never grows beyond the account — Standard 1.30 caps at 1.00 lot, Pro 1.40 caps at 3.00 lots.
